On iPhone? Join anyway: we'll tell you the moment it's ready. No spam, ever.

A mirror, not a wallet.

Your money stays exactly where it is: in your MoMo, your bank and your pocket. Verge only shows you what you have and helps you decide what to do with it.

Never moves your money

Verge can't send, receive or hold money. It isn't a bank or a MoMo wallet.

Never asks for your PIN

No MoMo PIN, no bank password, ever. If anyone asks in Verge's name, it isn't us.

Your data, your call

We never sell your data. Delete your account and everything with it, any time, from the app.

Set up in a few minutes.

No bank login, no linking. You tell Verge what you have; Verge does the maths every day.

Add your MoMo, bank and cash

Enter what's in each one right now. Two MoMo wallets? Add both.

Tell Verge about payday and bills

Monthly salary, weekly pay or daily sales, plus rent, fees and data bundles you've already promised.

Check one number each day

Log what you spend in seconds. Your Safe-to-Spend updates straight away.

Everything points to one clear answer.

Most expense apps show you where your money went. Verge helps you decide what to do with the money you still have.

Safe-to-Spend, today

What you have, minus bills and savings, spread over the days until payday. Spend less today and tomorrow goes up.

Bills set aside first

Rent, school fees and susu are held back before you see a cedi, so they're never spent by accident.

Goals you can see grow

Save for a laptop, fees or an emergency fund, and watch your progress without moving a pesewa.

Cash in five seconds

Long-press the Verge icon to log a cash expense, or answer the 8 pm check-in. No more forgotten trotro fares.

One tip at a time

Weekly insights that compare like with like, and one clear next step, not a pile of charts.

Works offline

No data? No problem. Everything works on your phone and is kept there first.

Tracking takes seconds. Planning is done for you.

Most budgeting apps make you do the work: categories, spreadsheets, limits. With Verge you log what you spend, and the planning happens on its own.

What you do

Log it and move on

  • Amount, category, save: about five seconds per expense
  • Quick amounts like +₵5 and +₵20 for trotro, food and airtime
  • Long-press the Verge icon to log cash without opening the app
  • An 8 pm "Any cash spending today?" reminder, so nothing slips
  • Pay a bill with one tap when it's done
What Verge does

The planning, every day

  • Holds back bills due before payday and money for your goals
  • Spreads the rest over the days until money comes in
  • Takes each expense straight off today's figure
  • Underspend and tomorrow goes up; overspend and it adjusts quietly
  • Spots your biggest change each week and suggests one next step

Honest numbers, never inflated.

Safe-to-Spend is exact arithmetic on what you tell Verge. Enter real balances and log what you spend, and the number you see is the number you can actually use.

  • Money you're expecting isn't counted until it arrives, so a late salary never makes today look richer than it is.
  • Bills and savings are taken out first, so they never show up as spendable.
  • A safety buffer keeps an amount you choose permanently out of view.
  • Old savings are handled honestly. Money saved before you joined isn't counted twice.
Keep it accurate

Three habits

  1. Enter balances as they really are, checked in your MoMo menu (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money) or banking app. Don't round up.
  2. Log cash the same day. The 8 pm check-in helps.
  3. If a balance drifts, correct it in Profile. Your history stays as it is.

Private by design.

Your money records live on your phone first, with a private backup that only you can restore.

Stored on your phone

Your accounts, transactions, bills and goals are saved in Verge's private storage on your phone. Other apps can't read it, and it works with no internet at all.

App lock with your fingerprint or face

Turn on App lock and Verge opens only with your phone's own fingerprint, face unlock or passcode. Verge never stores a PIN of its own.

Backup, only what's needed

Lose your phone, not your records. Sign in on a new phone and your accounts, transactions, bills and goals come back, readable only by you. Never full account numbers, never your PIN.

Android first, iPhone next

Why Android first?

Most phones in Ghana run Android, so starting there means Verge reaches the most people sooner, and we can make it fast on everyday phones, not just flagships.

  • Built for real phones: works offline, light on data and storage.
  • Automatic MoMo logging is planned for Android: with your permission, Verge will be able to log MoMo and bank transactions from their text messages. iPhone doesn't allow apps to read texts.
  • iPhone is planned. Verge is built so the iPhone version can follow, with quick logging, App lock with Face ID, and Sign in with Apple. Join the waitlist to hear when it's ready.

Made for how Ghana gets paid.

Salary at month end, weekly wages or daily sales from the stall: Verge plans around how you actually earn.

  • MoMo, bank and cash side by side, in cedis
  • Daily earners plan a week at a time, so a good day isn't spent in one go
  • Susu, rent and data bundles set aside before payday
  • Built for everyday Android phones and patchy data
An example day

Ama is cleared to spend GH₵ 200 today. She buys lunch for GH₵ 120, and Verge shows GH₵ 80 left. Tomorrow's figure barely moves, because the rest of the week was already planned.

Questions

Is Verge a bank or a MoMo wallet?

No. Verge never holds, sends or receives money. It's a planning tool: you tell it what you have, and it works out what's safe to spend. Your money stays exactly where it is.

Does Verge connect to my MoMo or bank account?

No, and it will never ask for your PIN. You enter your balances yourself and log what you spend. Verge will never ask for your MoMo PIN or bank password. If anyone claiming to be Verge asks for one, it isn't us.

Is Verge free?

Yes. Verge is free to use. Later, we plan to add optional premium features for people who want extra tools. If we do, we'll tell you first, and you'll never be charged unless you choose to upgrade.

When can I use it?

Early 2027, on Android first. We're testing Verge now and fixing what testers find before we open it up. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first to get it. We'll email you once when it's ready, and never spam you.

On iPhone? Tap iPhone when you join and we'll tell you when that version is ready.

I have an iPhone. Is Verge for me?

Yes. Verge is coming to iPhone too. We're starting on Android because most phones in Ghana run it, and it lets us make Verge fast on everyday phones (more on why).

The iPhone version is planned with everything that matters: Safe-to-Spend, bills, goals, insights, quick cash logging, App lock with Face ID and Sign in with Apple. The one thing iPhone won't have is automatic logging from text messages, because Apple doesn't let apps read them.

Join the waitlist and tap iPhone under "Your phone". The more iPhone users sign up, the sooner it comes, and we'll email you the moment it's ready.

I don't earn a monthly salary. Will it work for me?

Yes. Tell Verge how your money comes in: daily sales, weekly pay, a monthly salary, or "it varies" for contracts, gigs and remittances. It spreads what you have over the days until your next money arrives.

Will it use a lot of data?

Very little. Verge works offline, so you can check what's safe to spend and log what you spend with no connection. It backs up when you're online, and it's built to run well on everyday phones, not just expensive ones.

Will Verge read my text messages?

Not unless you allow it. Verge doesn't read texts today. Automatic MoMo and bank logging from text messages is planned for Android, and it will only work after you give permission, which you can take back at any time.

What happens to my data?

It stays yours. Your records are kept on your phone and backed up so a new phone can restore them, readable only by you. You can delete your account and everything with it from the app at any time. We never sell your data. Read the privacy policy.

Be first to know your number.

Join the waitlist and we'll email you once when Verge launches. That's it.
